Phoenix, a fire-bird, flies everyday toward the sun so as not to be lost over the horizon. He has been flying for five hundred years so that life in the garden may continue in full harmony, but his fire is dampening and his plumage wilting little by little and now he can no longer fly. He has to lay his one and only egg and be born again in all his splendour.
But what if Phoenix’s egg should disappear?
Find out the story pf Phoenix and break the shell…
Inspired by the myth of the Phoenix and the music of Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite, this work is a voyage of initiation built around the search for the most highly sought-after treasure, the very spark of life. It is a unique mise-en-scene through music, puppets, actors and video projection, the delight of audiences both young and old alike.
