The Bovoj Company whose members are Alejandro, Alonso, Gonzalo, Rodrigo and Punch Aragón, presents Aire, a ground-breaking show with theatre, music, rhythm and humour. Aire is a show which arises from an idea of chanciness, trying out and adventure on the part of the five performers who were all born into and have been trained in music and drama in the world of the Commedia dell’arte. Months ago, they decided to “open the doors and let in some air”, and breathe in some of its essence so that from the most naïve and poetic to the most sophisticated, they can search out the key to fun and thrill. To play with air… to reinvent, inspire and try out…. Via music, percussion and sound effects we shall find, by means of good humour, the story of the five characters that interconnect through music and the sound produced from 150 different sound sources, going from toy instruments to other objects they use during the performance. It is a show for everybody that uses music as the medium and language. Keeping close to a well-groomed contemporary aesthetics, Aire uses music and rhythm as its key proposal.
